If you are looking to enjoy the festive buzz without stretching your budget, February and March 2026 offer plenty of free experiences across Singapore. From cultural celebrations and music performances to community gatherings and wellness initiatives, the calendar is packed with activities that cost nothing but your time.

As the festive season continues, several malls across the island are hosting vibrant Lunar New Year showcases. Expect lively performances, themed décor, craft workshops, and interactive games at popular shopping destinations including Great World, Pasir Ris Mall, Tanglin Mall, The Seletar Mall, 313@somerset, Jem, Parkway Parade, Paya Lebar Quarter, West Mall, and Jewel Changi Airport. Many of these venues are also featuring festive markets, photo spots, and sure-win redemption activities, making them ideal for families looking to soak in the celebratory atmosphere.

K-culture fans can look forward to Korea Travel Fair 2026 at Plaza Singapura from 6 to 8 March. The three-day event brings together regional travel booths, live performances, beauty showcases, culinary demonstrations, and interactive workshops. Visitors can explore destination ideas from cities such as Jeju and Busan, join K-pop dance sessions, and take part in lucky draws, all with free admission.

Music lovers are in for a treat in March. The SSO Lunchtime Concert on 11 March at Victoria Concert Hall offers a complimentary midday performance featuring a lively programme inspired by Singapore and the Americas. A few days later, on 14 March, Music In The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay invites the public to enjoy an open-air orchestral concert under the evening sky. Arrive early for pre-show activities, including instrument exploration sessions suitable for both children and adults.

For those who enjoy eco-conscious events, the Future Forest Festival: Seeds of Tomorrow takes place on 14 and 15 March at Vidacity in Pasir Ris. This sustainability-focused gathering features a green marketplace, science showcases, repair workshops, live demonstrations, film screenings, and performances. It is designed to encourage practical ideas and community action in a relaxed, festival setting.

During Ramadan, several community-focused events are happening islandwide. City Sprouts locations in Bedok, Punggol, and West Coast are hosting Ramadan Tiba, a month-long series of bazaars, community iftars, and farmers’ markets. FairPrice outlets across Singapore are also running Hari Raya Mini Bazaar setups in 35 stores, with selected outlets offering complimentary snacks and drinks at iftar time. Pasir Ris Mall has introduced special evening perks, including an Iftar Together Corner with complimentary dates and water for members.

Pop-up experiences add another layer of variety. Jewel Changi Airport is hosting interactive showcases such as the breo relaxation-themed pop-up, while themed installations and festive displays continue at various malls across the city.

Beyond entertainment and shopping events, there are also meaningful community initiatives available at no cost. The SOSD Shelter Webinar Series offers free online educational sessions for animal lovers, covering topics such as dog behaviour and basic care knowledge. Meanwhile, 365 Cancer Prevention Society is running its #My1stPapTest and #My1stMammo campaigns until 31 March, providing complimentary cervical and breast cancer screenings for eligible women at participating medical centres across Singapore.

With free concerts, cultural fairs, festive bazaars, sustainability festivals, educational webinars, and health screenings taking place from now through mid-March, Singapore proves that enjoying the season does not require a big budget. Whether you are planning a family outing, a meaningful community gathering, or a simple evening of music under the stars, there are plenty of no-cost options to explore across the island in February and March 2026.
