Emaar Properties announced on Wednesday that its malls, hospitality assets, and development projects are all running smoothly, with sales more than doubling year-on-year in the first two months of 2026.
"All Emaar communities, malls, hospitality assets, and development projects are continuing to operate normally, thanks to comprehensive business continuity planning and close coordination with relevant authorities," the master developer stated on the Dubai Financial Market, where it is listed.
This announcement comes amidst regional military conflicts involving the US, Israel, and Iran since Saturday, with Iran targeting Gulf countries using missiles and drones.
"The city continues to show resilience, supported by effective leadership, sound regulation, and a dynamic business environment. Our focus remains on disciplined execution, operational excellence, and delivering sustainable value for our shareholders and customers," said Mohamed Alabbar, the founder of Emaar.
Emaar owns and operates some of the most valuable assets and master communities in Dubai, including Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Hills Estate, Dubai Creek Harbour, among others.
Sales Surge Over 100% in First 2 Months
The UAE's largest developer has reiterated the strength and resilience of its business fundamentals following robust results in 2025 and a strong start to 2026, highlighting continued investor confidence in Dubai's economic stability and growth trajectory.
Building on record revenues and profits in 2025, Emaar has carried this positive momentum into 2026.
In the first two months of 2026, its property sales in the UAE reached Dh17.2 billion, compared to Dh7.9 billion during the same period in 2025, marking a remarkable 118% year-on-year increase.
"Emaar's performance reflects Dubai's economic vision's strength and the confidence investors have in its stability and long-term prospects," stated Alabbar.
In 2025, Emaar achieved its highest-ever property sales of Dh80.4 billion, alongside record revenue of Dh49.6 billion and net profit before tax of Dh25.7 billion.
The company's revenue backlog stood at Dh155 billion as of December 31, 2025. Recurring income streams from malls, hospitality, leisure, entertainment, and commercial leasing accounted for 32% of total EBITDA.
"With diversified income streams, strong liquidity, and disciplined cost management, Emaar is well-positioned to sustain growth and contribute to the continued strength and resilience of Dubai's capital markets," the company stated.
