GTA 6 Price Rumors Spark Speculation Among UAE Gamers

Excitement is building among gamers in the UAE eagerly anticipating the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, but they may need to prepare for a higher price tag than expected.

A recent digital listing on Xbox suggests that the standard edition of GTA 6 could be priced at £89.99. If accurate, this would likely mean a $99.99 price tag in the US and around Dh370 in the UAE, depending on regional pricing and exchange rates.

The listing, uncovered by vigilant fans, is widely believed to be a placeholder. Nevertheless, it has sparked renewed discussions on how much Rockstar's next blockbuster could cost at launch.

Interestingly, the same storefront displays a PC code for the Rockstar Games Launcher priced at £60.99, a significantly lower and somewhat unconventional price. There is currently no confirmation that GTA 6 will be released on PC alongside consoles in November.

No official confirmation yet

Both Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have not confirmed the official price of GTA 6. The £89.99 figure also appeared on Loaded (formerly CD Keys), a popular digital storefront known for discounted codes among PC gamers.

If the £89.99 listing proves to be accurate, GTA 6 could potentially become one of the most expensive standard editions of a major title, with a price range between $70 and $100 globally.

Impact on UAE gamers

In the UAE, premium AAA games usually launch between Dh250 and Dh300. A price point of Dh370 would represent a significant increase, reflecting escalating development costs, inflation, and the industry's gradual trend towards higher base prices.

For now, fans will need to await official confirmation, but if these initial listings are any indication, GTA 6 might set a new record with its price tag.

The highly anticipated video game from Rockstar is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco taking wedding planning 'one day at a time'
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are taking "one day at a time" with their wedding planning. The newly-engaged lovebirds aren't rushing into their big day, and 37-year-old musician joked his bride-to-be, 32, is constantly coming up with a whole new idea. He told Rolling Stone magazine in a joint interview: “I think every day she’s planned a new wedding in her head. “We’re very much ‘take it one day at a time’ type of people. We’re still not over this moment. "Literally, while you were talking, she was sitting there staring at her ring.” The 'Only Murders In The Building' actress pointed out that for now, they're focused on the upcoming release of their collaborative album 'I Said I Love You First'. She added: “Also, I genuinely feel like this is such a special time that we get to apply it to this album and really just pour our heart into it, and completely translate what we feel and bring it to the world. "That’s my main focus right now, at least.” In December last year, Selena revealed Benny had proposed using an oval-shaped ring with a large diamond. He popped the question during a picnic which featured Taco Bell, but he insisted there wasn't an "elaborate" meaning behind the fast food involvement, He explained: “There’s not this whole elaborate thing. I think we’re very lucky to be surrounded by such great people, and we’ve still just been enjoying so much. “It feels like we got engaged yesterday, but also feels like we got engaged 20 years ago. I’ve known her since she was 18, and so it’s like we got all that stuff out of the way. "By the time we’re dating, it’s like, whoa. My biggest regret is that we didn’t get to do this earlier, like we waited this long to be together. But I know it was perfect and it was right.”
